The story behind this piece:

This piece was designed for a true Jamaican. Throughout my journey through medical school, I would travel to many different countries. “Yardie” is a term often used within the Jamaican diaspora, to refer to persons of Jamaican origin. The term is derived from the Jamaican patois for home or "yard". This piece was created with the intention to rep “yard” wherever life may take you. Afterall, home is where the heart is ♡
